Through hard work, leadership, and discipline, the UT subsidiaries have been nursed to survive.
UT Holdings was in June 2011, awarded a Gold Award in the Arch of Europe Quality Award Organized by Business Initiative Directions (BID) in Frankfurt, Germany for its quality delivery and business solutions among others.
UT Bank won the Best Bank in IT/Electronic Banking, Financial Performance and the overall Bank of the Year 2011 at the 11th Ghana Banking Awards, 2011. The CEO was also voted the Best Entrepreneur in the 2011 Entrepreneur Awards.
In October 2012 UT Bank was voted Ghana’s Most Respected Company and the CEO voted Most Respected CEO, for three consecutive times.
For two years running UT was recognized as the fifth best company by the Ghana Investment Promotion Center (GIPC) in its Club 100 rankings which represents the top 100 companies in Ghana. The same ranking rated UT Financial Services (now UT Bank) the 2nd Best Financial and Best Indigenous Institution in 2006, as well as the Best Non-Bank Financial Institution (2008, 2005, 2004, and 2003).
In the same year the CEO received the Marketing Man of the Year Awarded by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIMG).
UT again won a Gold Award for contribution to the Social and Economic Development of Ghana at Ghana’s 50th Anniversary celebration.
